Finally ticking Pinto Art Museum off my bucket list. Known as one of the most popular tourist destinations to visit in Rizal. Pinto Art Museum is the perfect gateway for anyone who wants to experience arts and nature in one. My place is 25 minutes away from this place but took me awhile to visit here. I’m glad I finally made it with my best friends.
If you’re into social media and a fan of posting OOTD’s I suggest you bring someone with you. Be it your friends, family or special someone, but if your good at taking selfies alone then your good to go.
This place is super IG worthy! No wonder why every millennial I know, would go gaga over this place flooding their soc-med with pictures. You will see Greek architecture with white color everywhere.
Pintô Art Museum is a private museum dedicated to the exhibition and study of Philippine contemporary art. Its name, Pintô, comes from the Filipino vernacular word for door or doorway and signifies the role of the institution as a threshold of the mind to aesthetic consciousness and cultural awareness. The museum's philosophy is defined by its founder and patron, renowned Filipino neurologist and medical educator Joven Cuanang, who began collecting the pieces from the early 1990s to the present. Later his extensive collection was formally presented to the public with the opening of the museum in 2010, as stated on their website.
Sits on a 1.3 hectare and home to Philippine contemporary art and shelter artists from all walks of life. Pinto Art Museum is located at 1 Sierra Madre St., Grand Heights Rd, Antipolo, Rizal.
Inside you’ll find Chapel, Café, galleries, gardens and museum shops. They are open from Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The museum is CLOSED on MONDAYS. They are open during holidays (as long as it’s not a Monday.)
