#OOTD : KPOP FUR FASHION

Fur fashion is right on trend. Always on trend especially to those cold country in the world. But as for me today I am wearing this fur vest to aim my KPOP (Korean Pop) look for the day. 

What do you think? Do I look like a K-Pop? or I'm being silly ha!ha!ha!

All I know is that you can never be wrong with Fur coats, jackets or vests to aim your Korean pop look.

#OOTD : Santorinian Day!

I LOVE SANTORINI and my outfit today reminds me of that island in the southern Aegean Sea,  from the beautiful country of Greece. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago which bears the same name and is the remnant of a volcanic caldera.

Queen of Thorns???

Today I had fun taking selca with myself wearing the crown of my friend Adante Leyesa at the photoshoot for his Summer/Spring 2015 Collection. I was feeling like I'm the Queen from the game of thrones ha!ha! or I'm like Queen Elsa from Frozen. #letITgo #lol

OOTD : Manila Fame October 2014 Edition

OOTD stand for "Outfit of the Day"

We just finish another edition of Manila Fame this year , its a bi-annual event organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the Philippines. 

Its our country's premier trade platform for exports and design, providing opportunities for small and medium scale entrepreneurs to showcase Philippine-made creations from artisans and manufacturers in the world market. 

My boss Carissa Cruz Evangelista is one of the featured accessory designer under the Manila Wear program before and now part of "Fashion Philippines' on this edition. 

Every Manila Fame me, my boss and my co worker are so excited not just because of our Collection and Booth but also with our outfits. Our boss Carissa always make sure we looked stunning and beautiful with our outfits. :)

So here is my Manila Fame #OOTD from October 16 to 19, 2014.

DAY ONE

Our theme was all black :)

Our theme was white but since I looked so fat with all white I decided to mixed it up with black top :)

Day four was my favorite of all #OOTD but day two stand the most because everyone at the event were calling us "Doctors on Call" LOL :D especially our co exhibitors and friends.

One Year and Counting!

Ohhh my! How time flies hey! :)

Today would be my birthday! Upinde Cordero this blog is now one year old. I still can't believe I'm doing this! I used to wrote many notes on Facebook about anything and everything and suddenly, dearest friends keep on telling me to make my own blog, thanks guys! (You knew who you are, too many to mention) I love you all, even though I'm not a keen writer you still believe in me.

Over the year, this blogs greatest achievement was when my Adventure in Sagada- Spelunking Lumiang and Sumaguing Cave Connection was featured in GMA's News YouScooper ng Bayan. (Read here...)

I was so happy and proud of myself then and now. What an inspiration for me, I was just starting then when my photos and story was featured on national television, from then on I know I want to be a blogger and a traveler as well. :) (Watch video here...)

Aside from travel adventure this blog also serve as my fashion #ootd diary. You may not like my fashion statement, but who cares ha!ha! as long as I'm happy and having fun with what I wore. And if by chance you got inspired, then I am greatly happy and will continue to share my fashion #ootd :)

I will continue writing and share my experience, about anything and everything about my personal journey in life with adventure, story to tell and lesson learned.

Remembering Super Typhoon Yolanda : One Year Anniversary

Today, November 8, 2014 marks a year anniversary of the devastating Super Typhoon Yolanda that hits my beloved province of Leyte. It has been a year now and it seems like yesterday for us Leyteños. Super Typhoon Yolanda would always be a nightmare to the victims and families who experience great loss especially those who loss their love-ones.

I will always be thankful to God for keeping my family in Leyte safe and sound, when super typhoon Yolanda hits on the ground and kill thousands of lives, and ruined billions of infrastructure. Many of those victims are still mourning and on the process of moving on, while most of them are still waiting for help from the government. 

Maybog's road widening.

Two weeks ago I had the to chance to come visit my beloved province in Maybog, Baybay City, Leyte for a 5 days vacation from work. It was so refreshing to see its changes from the devastating Yolanda. I could still remember Yolanda's aftermath when I went home after a week of no contacts with my immediate family. Roads are hardly passable, no electricity, our house is roofless, no signal for telecommunications, no supplies of water and food, survivors are killing each other because of hunger, while some are stealing and taking advantages of the situation. It was describe as the "Dooms Day", the "Darkest Hours" of every Leyteños.

Its nice to see the Mountain in green colors. 

In memory of all victims and survivor I would like you to take a 5 minutes prayer if your reading this, to pray those who have loss a brother, a sister, a mother, a father, friend, neighbors, family, husband, wife, and a child. And also pray to those who survive that may this incident give them light to thanked God, and appreciate and value life even more.

Ending my post with a thankful heart. Thank you to all countries who helped us. Your effort and kindness are greatly appreciated. Mabuhay!

OOTD : Boho-Chic Day!

Boho is one of my favorite fashion statement, I love it's fun, carefree and colorful statement. Having been live all my life in a tropical country like Philippines, Boho is pretty normal for us Filipinos wearing on our normal basis life and on the beach, but I'm guessing not everyone knows what Boho is especially those who are not into fashion :) "Boho" is an abbreviation for bohemian.

Yesterday was a very fun yet happy day of my life. I got to dress bohemian on my best-friend wedding day. It was her choice of theme and I was informed on a last minute notice. But nonetheless to say I got the help of our other bestie Andrew, a designer himself and a stylish too.

So here's my Boho Chic outfit of the day.

It's so nice to be friends with people who has eyes on fashion like me :) I always got the best of best fashion statement and advises from my bestie's. And oh before I end this my bestfriend Kath is a designer herself too. Hihi

Bram and Kath Wedding Day!

To my dearest bff Kathleen Pearl Conde,

Wow! That's the only words I can utter I still can't believe your now living the dream Becks. Not just long ago we are both busy going out every Friday at Saturday nights at Decades and in Strips partying out, enjoying our singleness. But look at you now! I can still remember the first time we meet Bram and who could have thought that, that quite guy in the corner with a timid smile could be your husband now.

Our friendship is no ordinary, we been through ups and down fighting together every storms that pass our way. Through boyfriends, and breakups, failures and triumphs, smiles and tears, we have each other through it all, and we manage to move on and go on with our lives now. And I am so happy and thankful how things turned out the best for you. I could still remember that girl , telling me how her so called, close friend from work then whom she treated as best friend and a sister stab her back. With that on, I saw how that girl suffered, she was so hurt and devastated to the point that she'll wiling to die just to forget all the pain and hurt she felt and that moment. But through the love of her parents and support from us, her true friend she survive and became a better person. I'm glad that "girl" did that; because you wouldn't be this happier if it weren't for her. Your pain and disappointment turns out to be a great blessing in your life now. Because God gave you the one who would truly loves you and would always be there for you no matter what.

I hope and pray that you would always love and look after each other. I may never know anything about marriage yet because I'm not one.. But just want to let you know that you always have me here, praying, loving and supporting you all the way.
